Brad Justin

Brad began working as a North Pacific Groundfish Observer in Alaska in September of 2005. About a year later, he settled in Seattle and began working with the APO which soon led to the writing of an article for the September 2006 Mail Buoy. As an observer, Brad's initial goals were simple- "stay safe and collect quality biological data".

He has recently added a new goal to his list: to work toward improving ocean resource management by facilitating dialogue among observers and other stakeholders. Essentially, Brad wishes to help raise awareness regarding the state of worldwide fisheries while attempting to heighten his own wisdom. Brad still volunteers from time to time for the APO.
